The Junior Suites have a large bedroom with an adjacent bathroom with a shower. The suite is, like all other accommodations of the resort, equipped with air conditioning and a flat-screen television. The Junior Suites have direct views of the Borobudur Temple as well as the Mount Sumbing. The Junior suites are surrounded by a large private garden and the lush Javanese jungle.
The Junior Suites are located close to the swimming pool and the Taste Java restaurant, consisting of two hand-carved teak-wooden Joglos, also referred to as ‘Pendopos’ (living rooms). The Pendopos are excellent for relaxation and offer several dining areas and lounge beds.
Our ‘Bamboo Bar’ is located in the ‘Open Pendopo’ and offers you a full-range bar menu, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages such as our well-known Ginger Beer and Lemongrass Iced Tea. Our restaurant, Taste Java, is also located here and provides you with local, organic Indonesian food. We also serve food and drinks in your suite, depending on your preferences.
The swimming pool (14 x 3.5 m) is located in front of the Pendopos and can be reached by stairs. It is the biggest swimming pool of Villa Borobudur Resort.
