The Siddharta Suite is part of Villa Mahayana and consists of a large bedroom with an adjacent bathroom with bathtub and shower. From the Siddharta Suite -and also from the bed itself- you will have direct views of the Borobudur Temple as well as Mount Sumbing. Villa Mahayana is set in a large private garden surrounded by Java’s lush jungle and our fruit gardens.
The Siddharta suite consists of hand-carved teak-wooden Joglos. Villa Mahayana has in total two large Joglos; the so-called ‘Pendopos’ (living rooms). These Pendopos are excellent for private relaxation and offer several dining areas and lounge beds. Our ‘Bamboo bar’ is located in the ‘open Pendopo’ and offers you a full-range bar menu, as well as non-alcoholic beverages such as our well-known Ginger Beer and Lemongrass Iced Tea. Our restaurant, Taste Java, is also situated here and provides our guests with local, organic Indonesian food. We also serve food and drinks in your suite, depending on your preferences.
The swimming pool (14 x 3.5 meters) of Villa Mahayana is located in front of the Pendopos and can be reached by stairs. It is the biggest swimming pool of Villa Borobudur Resort.
