Villa Merapi is named after the Javanese Merapi volcano and is a villa that has multiple Joglos. One two-level Pendopo (living room) with lounging and dining facilities is located in the middle of the Javanese lush jungle, but built on such a way that it still offers stunning views of the Borobudur valley. Besides this Pendopo, Villa Merapi offers four independent two-level ‘Jungle suites’ that are placed next to each other, all facing the Borobudur valley and therefore offering all unique impressive views. The distance between the suites is spacious, to make sure all our guests experience a high sense of privacy. All the Jungle suites, the bedrooms, are equipped with an own bathroom that can be reached with a handcrafted stairway at the end of your bed. It is important to note that these suites are unfortunately less suitable for guests with reduced mobility. The rest of our villas do offer easy access to all levels and are therefore easy accessible for everyone.
All the Joglos are connected with each other by a path, leading you through the jungle to your secluded swimming pool. All our swimming pools are uniquely built, but Villa Merapi is the only one to have a waterslide and a waterfall.
